This one had better improve and quickly. It's a great premise and as someone who loves old houses, I thought this would be great fun, but the writing's pretty bad and so far the characters are not engaging. I'll give this a few more chapters and then I'm done. And it didn't. Waste of time. Dithering lead character and annoying supporting folks and the murderer was of course completely implausible. Avoid.

I thought it was great at first, then it got a little repetitious and we had to have everyone being sexually active. Kinda lost its charm. Didn't check to see if I read it before so I reread it without remembering that I had read it. Still stand by my first impressions.
