Teun Buma Buma itibaren Igar, Macaristan
I found this book a hard one at first I struggled to get into it but the build up of the main characters was a good one in the end. Maybe when I got the ser of the series I can judge. This is my first book by Kathy I have read. Maybe it being a author I dont normally read didnt help.
Encouraging and sympathetic, but seems to lack scientific rigor.
I had to buy this one in Keflavik, as I could not find it in the US, but it was well worth it. A very moving, beautifully written story of the life of a schizophrenic man, who is eventually hospitalized in Reykjavik, and the people he meets along the way. The movie was phenomenal, as well...Hilmar Snaer is in it, so it IS a must see...but the book is a definite must. So much more to it than could ever be captured on film...
