I really liked this book. I found it very creepy.

Kids, even reluctant readers, love this book; and I can see why. Two middle school underdogs -- one big of body and the other big of brain -- become friends and together create one Super Kid, Freak the Mighty. Together they face down the school bully and one boy's sociopathic father. They can't face down the Kevin's inevitable death, but Max survives with some brain power he never knew he had.
