I ended up getting this book for Christmas because i couldnt stop talking about Bradley's previous book. a really good book, once you get past the first hundred pages or so. James Bradley didnt even get into the real story until after the first 100 pages. It was nice to have a little background information but he stretched it out for too long. He also mentioned his father a few times in this book. Yes we know who his father is, but I didnt see it necessary to bring it up again in this book. It's a different island, and completely different story. The book was well written, although Bradley did take quite a bit from other books. I thought I had read one page 2 or 3 times but then i realized i did read the material, but it was in other books. I most likely would reccomend this book, but not without a heads up that it will take some time to get through the first few chapters.
